1.2: Moderator GuidelinesCommand in the Chat: !rules ops / !rules @
- The role of a moderator is to help maintain the peaceful
flow of conversation in the channel and to maintain a decent standard
in that conversation by enforcing the iMesh Chat Channel Rules.
- The iMesh Chat Channel Rules also apply to moderators, you are not exempt.
- Don't abuse the authority you have been given. Treat people how you would like to be treated!
- Don't join too many outside channels. We need your attention here.
- Be friendly polite and helpful to newcomers, remember we were all newbies once.
- Be tolerant of people that speak foreign languages or have different customs or beliefs to your own.
- Don't play favourites with your friends or let them influence you in your decisions. The rules apply to them as well.
- If one moderator is resolving a problem with a chat user, let them do so without interference.
- If a dispute arises between Mods about a situation, contact
Daimos, Pretzy, Infinity or Chelsea Fan about it rather than argue in
the channel
- Remember why we all come here, to chat with our friends and have some fun.
So don't forget to have some fun :)
These rules are very simple, but if you'd like to break them your
moderator status may be revoked at the discretion of the operators or
founder.
