"Lloyds is pants" Telephone Banking Password |
|
|
A man who chose "Lloyds is pants" as his telephone
banking password said he found it had been changed by a member of staff
to "no it's not".
Steve Jetley, from Shrewsbury, said he chose the password after
falling out with Lloyds TSB over insurance that came free with an
account.
He said he was then banned from changing it back or to another password of "Barclays is better".
The bank apologised and said the staff member no longer worked there.
Mr Jetley said he first realised his security
password had been changed when a call centre staff member told him his
code word did not match with the one on the computer.
"I thought it was actually quite a funny response," he said. "But what really incensed me was when I was told I could not change
it back to 'Lloyds is pants' because they said it was not appropriate. Read More

In a “miracle” that has stunned one of the world’s fastest-aging societies, a
61-year old Japanese woman has given birth to her own grandchild, sparking

War Toys ... |
|
|
CHICAGO:
A US company is developing a gun that can fire bullets with variable speed and
can be set to kill, wound or just cause a bruise.
Lund
and Company Invention, a Chicago-based toy design studio, which makes toy
rockets that are powered by burning hydrogen, is receiving funding from the US
army to adapt the same technology for firing bullets as the army is interested
in weapons that can be switched between lethal and non-lethal modes, a report
said. Read More

Zak McKracken: Between Time and Space |
|
|
“Zak McKracken: Between Time and
Space” is an unofficial sequel of the adventure-classic “Zak McKracken
and the Alien Mindbenders” which was released in 1988. We (a bunch of
adventure-fans) made it our task to use the theme of this impressive
cult-game and create a sequel which follows in the footsteps of the
classic adventure games, but at the same time delivers a brand new
experience.
The Zak:btas-Team worked about seven years on an inofficial non-commercial
sequel to "Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders". Uncountable
leisure-times, weekends and summer vacations were spent for "Zak
McKracken - Between Time and Space" (Some people already began to title
the game "Zak McKracken Forever"), but now it's finally done - and we
are very proud of the outcome! It is one of the most extensive
fan-adventures ever released and to be released in the next years.
