An American company is now taking orders for the new C64x computer. The new machine looks like the old Commodore 64 to the point. Company Commodore United States have bought all the necessary licenses and will now relaunch the old breadbox .6Der is a bit of a wolf in sheep's clothing. For inside the computer has completely modern notebook components. Several different models can be pre ordered now..

The cheapest version with 2 GB of memory and 160 GB hard drive and it costs $ 595. There is also an integrated card reader, USB and DVD drives.

The whole animal model for $ 895 also includes WLAN, Bluetooth and Blu-ray player and a hard disk of 1 TB.

You can also just buy the chassis and keyboard and other components for $ 250, if one wants to assemble the computer.

The processor is a dual-core Atom 525 with 1.8 GHz and Nvidia has delivered its graphics chip ION2.

It is either possible to run with the Commodores own operating system, which also has access to a media center, or install Windows Vista or Windows 7 on the machine.

An emulator provides all the old C64 programs can run on the reborn breadbox.

Commodore United States has also launched two brand new computers, Commodore VIC-Pro and VIC-Slim where you tried to upload the classic design for the 21 century. The large model comes with quad-core processor.

As with the C64 and Asus Eee PC Keyboard is the entire computer built into the keyboard.

The next Commodore will relaunch America an Amiga series. Then we can start to dream of a revival of the classic and immortal Amiga 500th

The rights to the Commodores old brands have been bought and sold many times in the last 20 years. Besides Commodore U.S. there is also another company, Commodore Holding, which will sell Windows-based computers under that name.

A Dutch company called Commodore Gaming offers the old games as downloads for the Wii and iPhone

I didn't see a screen, It was an article and I just put the c64 image in there from a stock photo. However, that is supposedly what the Pc is going to look like.
