okay, off topic but why is the chat still broken here..it is imeshCHAT after all. Not a complaint, I could get there from gogloom and nobody is ever in the room save GothicAngel. I do notice new users being added here and maybe having a working chat link would revive the whole imesh chat..most likely wishful thinking on my part

what would be the point doob? i do remember the fun times on here (thats why i have saved the pages to remember the good times) but those times have past... the people moved on.... bar me you alic only the odd ''reg'' comes on here nowdays these new starters would never bring back that ''life''

mric chatrooms have almost died out paveing the way for fourums and facebook as well as twitter (bonuses being the anti idiot ban functions and a choice as to whom you add)

everyone at one point in time was a newbie. Getting to know people in chat was always cool, and its easier to have friends that you can choose to log on to see or not. It's true IRC is dead, I tried to go back and even found a few "busy" rooms to chat in, but it wasn't the same, and they don't stay busy for long. Forums aren't for me because mostly it's one person posting a topic, then the replies are usually all negative, or not adding to the point and eventually the thread gets broke or forgotten for a new one. The people here did move on, and strangely it seemed like most of them moved on at the same time, I think about the time myspace became popular, then they migrated to facebook, and if something more popular comes along they will migrate there, baaaing like the social networking sheep that they are. "look at me, look at my kids" and if you don't kiss our ass enough I will "unfriend" you. Sorry, but I liked the fact that I couldn't choose who joined and couldn't ban the people I didn't like...in that way chat is more real then any social network could ever hope to be

well tbh doob haveing a ban/block is no diffrent than simply deleteing the persons number off your mobile or moveing address so in effect the ''reality'' is you just dont like/ wish to talk to them

good point I just recently deleted my ex girlfriends number AND sold my house and moved far across the valley to escape her evil clutches. When I think of her it makes me think even more that I'm glad that I'm NOT on a social network because all of that drama she put me through would have been etched upon the internet for all to see for all time.
