ok so maybes not imesh but you must be haunting dalnet doobie doo

you know I did try to return to chat via dalnet. First thing they made me do was change my nick...I guess this one isnt acceptable outside imesh. I found people I sort of liked to chat up( and even old timers like smug, and talking a$$hole), but in the end it wasnt the same and im pretty much done. I hate to sound sappy, but I liked what we had here, it sucks that everyone went their separate ways, but thats life. Its like you build a house, spend years living in it and making it the way you want, then you have to suddenly move in to a new house..the new house would never seem like home

i must admit its a shame imesh ''changed'' but at least on fb we can pick and choose who we wish to talk to but being in a mass ''room' was fun,
who knows perhaps we may look back an laugh at all this i know i do.

As for the deletion of the last remaining bastion of imesh the addition of new members to the wood pile should ensure its safety for a time but what we should work on is somehow saveing what is left before it goes fully... but meh should it go then atleast i have the peeps i want from here still in contact (those who arnt prob refused fb addition)

that was the point neo was the whole mass room and meeting random individuals, and choosing your level of engagement with them based upon personality blends. I dont know why pica and mad bomber get the bad rep from here, all somebody ever had to do is right click thier nicks and put them to ignore if they didnt like what they were saying. If you dont like thier posts, then dont reply to them, if somebody pulls your chain you would only give that person what they wanted by responding it seems to me what "killed" imesh was the advent of personal pages such as myspace and facebook. Instead of being an open forum community its hey look at me and what im in to, let me decide who can view my all mighty page depending on who says what I want to hear. As to the new members joining here, I see them on the nick list, but they have yet to post or use the chat room, so thats kind of pointless atm. when this site does finaly go plop i do wonder who mad pica and others will finaly go to .... number 1 question to that is ... why would you wish this to go plop, you dont enjoy the archived posts from the past?? and number 2, am I considered to be the "others" ??

as for pica and mad getting a bad rep meh its personal taste as you say you can just click them away,
the advent of personal pages for me as well as other peeps i doubt its that what killed imesh if anything it was a factor but not the be all and end all the other factors were the constant a/s/l's and the basic (ok ill say it) ''i cant be arsed to even sit infront of a god dammned pc just to get crap from fools i will never meet why in gods name should i have to work thrugh and block them all when they can just change nick and re-register makeing it a looseing battle'' idea... sorry but its true doob we(meaning everyone) if given the choice would rather move away from someone who would hurl abuse at us than simply turn the other cheek (block them) esp if the same person could change both apperance and hide at will it makes life easyer.
mad and pica yes they gave me some crap but some good laughs as well i respect them when they stood up for people being picked on in imesh they actualy had the testicular fortitude to butt in and stop it but it don't mean id want to invite em home for tea....
i still use this forum for the lul'z but its changed life does that i dont want this to go ''plop'' but as with life it tends to kiss ya then bugger you silly so as the saying goes ''anything can happen in the next half hour''

ahh okay, I get your point. It never bothered me because I looked at it as just chat, and I have to be bigger then to let words on a monitor from a stranger that knows nothing about the real me bother me. However, that is the way I looked at it, not others. Maybe for several different reasons most of the old timers got tired or bored of this place. I, and whoever is running this place will still keep the flame going being the flamers that we are. As to where I would go if this place ever went out..I still have a youtube account just to make fun of silly videos, so ill manage.

btw, when was the last time a topic on this place went to a second or even a third page?? bet its been years!
