Animated avatars

I tried to put a small animated gif (95 x 95 pixels, 12kb) as my avatar, and it came up with an error... have the settings been changed , as I notice a few animated ones there ... ?

hmâ€¦ didn't have problem with mine, but i've got a much smaller animated gif tho.. 48x48 pixel and under 6kb

simply send me the image file as an attachment in a private message and I will add it to the custom gallery. animated avatar upload is currently disabled.
