I am lost in thought now
remembering how

life is fragile, hidden love
behind doors talked of.

Love rests on the high bough
that I fall short of.

A thirteen year old man
lost without a plan

of how to grow inside,
too many places to hide.

These foolish games began
with my heart’s divide.

Deep down I lack love,
away from me I shove.

Lost in lonely tao,
looking at the bright plough

my youth I write of
days long gone until now.

This lost soul has died
a thousand times inside.

There exists no scan
for heart, say the wise man.

It lives in tears cried,
they hide in a breath's span.
